Barcelona defender Jordi Alba has taken a swipe at Man United after his team recorded a 1-0 win at the Old Trafford in the Champions League game.
An own goal by Jordi Alba was enough for the LA Liga outfit to be able to pick all three points with an advantage ahead of the second leg.
Jordi Alba stated that he would have loved his team to have a better advantage with more goals before the second leg but expressed his delight that they have been able to secure more wins.
While admitting that his side were unable to express in their usual free attacking style, he noted that the game was a big one for both teams and they were trying to be cautious and not make mistakes, knowing that they are playing away from home.
However, he stated that his team played the best football and had total control of the game which gives them an edge over their host team.
With the second leg of the game coming up next week, it is unclear if Argentina international Lionel Messi would be available for the game owing to a bruise he sustained on his nose after contact with Red Devils defender Chris Smalling.
