Jose Mourinho Wants To Re-sign Powerful Goal Machine For Manchester United

Manchester boss Jose Mourinho is exploring the option of re-signing Javier Hernandez to the Old Trafford this summer, according to reports.

The 28-year-old forward left United for Bayern Leverkusen in 2015 after falling out of the pecking order under former boss Louis Van Gaal.

Hernandez has been an impressive figure for the Bundesliga side, drawing interest from few clubs during the last January transfer window with reports that Liverpool wanted to bring him back to the Premier League.

Reports in the Daily Telegraph claim that Mourinho has started efforts that would see Chicharito return to England after his public admiration of the forward’s abilities and even claimed that he would not have allowed the Mexican leave the club, insisting that the striker would have scored 20 goals this season for Manchester United.

Chicharito had also hinted at a possible return to United by retweeting and liking some posts that linked him to return to the Red Devils.

Jose Mourinho is understood to be keen on landing several attacking players this summer in a bid to replace the likes of Wayne Rooney and Zlatan Ibrahimovic both of whom careers at the Old Trafford might come to an end by the end of the season.
