Manchester United are closing in on a summer move for Inter Milan winger, Ivan Perisic after successful talks with Jose Mourinho, according to reports.
The Croatian has been tipped to leave San Siro this summer to join United after Mourinho was spotted at Zagreb during the last international break, sparking reports that the United boss met with the player’s agent.
Reports in Premium Sport have it that Perisic is keen on moving to the Old Trafford this summer despite Inter’s reluctance to cash in on one of their best players, after the massive takeover by Chinese consortium.
It is understood that Jose Mourinho is a keen admirer of Ivan Perisic’s abilities and will intensify his efforts to lure him to the Old Trafford.
Although, the 29-year-old arrival at Manchester United could mean the end of Anthony Martial’s career at the club due to his reduced role under Mourinho last season, sparking suggestions that the Frenchman wants to leave United in search of better opportunities.
There are reports that Paris Saint Germain is ready to battle United for winger’s signature and are ready to meet Inter Milan’s £39million valuation of the player but it is believed that Perisic wants Old Trafford move after talks with Jose Mourinho.
