Injury Update: Coach Jose Mourinho disclosed why Chile international miss out of Manchester United face off with Brighton

Yesterday, we made it known that Manchester United striker and Chile international, Alexis Sanchez was not on the 20 man list that went to Amex Stadium to play newcomers, Brighton FC.

As at that moment, the major reason for the absence of the Chile star was not known.

However, Jose Mourinho in one of his recent statements have made it known why Sanchez didn’t participate in the match.

Mourinho added that the ex Arsenal star had suffered an injury breakdown which saw him being dropped off from the Sunday match.

The Portugal international in his statement added that the injury was not that much but he is awaiting full result from the club medic staff.

Jose Mourinho stressed that Alexis Sanchez will be back in the next two weeks,  this means the player will miss Man United third match against Newcastle FC.

Man Utd will not forget the match against Brighton in a long time as the newcomers had exploited their weakness which happened to be majorly their defense.
