Ian Wright names one evil departing Gazidis did to Arsenal

Departing Arsenal’s chief executive Ivan Gazidis has been perceived by many fans as someone who has done a lot good for the North London club but that opinion is not held by the club’s legend who thinks the outgoing chief has done one evil to the club.

Wright made this claim when reacting to reports that Aaron Ramsey will be leaving Arsenal on a free transfer.

The former player is not only pained that the 27-year-old will be leaving the Gunners without any financial benefit to the club, but he is also much more concerned about the quality that would be missed in the Arsenal team.

He said Gazidis has a lot to answer for not handing Ramsey a good deal all these while and would take the blame despite leaving the club.

According to Wright, Ramsey is the heartbeat of the Arsenal team who will always make things work when the team plays poorly, in addition to making efforts to get into the box for goals.

He stressed the importance of the player in ensuring that Arsenal plays beautiful football or getting out of difficult situations with the way he plays and should not leave the club.

Wright says he is desperate to see Ramsey remain at the club under new manager Unai Emery.
