Former president orders Chelsea to free Eden Hazard from ‘slavery’

Real Madrid are keen on signing the Blues forward, Eden Hazard to their squad at the end of this season.

Chelsea have continued to deny Real Madrid the opportunity to sign the top star but it is uncertain if the Belgium star will remain at Stamford Bridge after this current campaign.

Hazard, 27, whose current contract will lapse in 2020 have refused to sign a contract extension, giving room for opinions that he could still leave for Spain at the end of his contract at Chelsea.

However, former Real Madrid president, Ramon Calderon, has taken out time to blast the Blues terming Eden Hazard’s continuous stay in the club as pure ‘slavery.’

According to Calderon, the Belgian striker wants to leave Chelsea but the club is refusing him the opportunity to leave.

The former Madrid president affirmed that the Los Blancos will see to it that Eden Hazard leaves Chelsea at the end of the season.

Ramon Calderon in a statement with beIN Sports said:

“There’s no point to having a player who wants to go, slavery was abolished a long time ago.”

He, however, hinted that it all depends on what Chelsea wants in return but  ‘‘it’s just a question of money between Chelsea and Madrid.”

Calderon believes Eden Hazard have the right skills to be better than Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
