Amid the ongoing speculation about his future at Arsenal, talented player Alexis Sanchez has insisted that he feels happy and comfortable at the north London club.
In recent weeks, Sanchez’s situation at The Emirates has been an occasional source of speculation after both him and German international Ozil entered into the final two years of their contracts at the club.
The Chilean international hit the headlines on Saturday when he reacted angrily to being substituted in the second half of Arsenal’s 4-0 victory over Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium.
It is being said that both him and Ozil are in discussions with the club about the possibility of extending their contracts.
However, 28-year-old Sanchez has given an update about his situation at Arsenal beyond the summer of 2018.
Sanchez in a recent interview, confessed that he definitely feel like an important player and that his team-mates let him know as each day goes by.
“I try [to] prove that I am an important player every day [and] game after game.” he said.
He insists that he feels happy at Arsenal amid the ongoing speculation about his future at the club. Therefore, it is very likely he would eventually get his contract extended at the North London club.
