Finally, Club Asked Liverpool To Pay £70.4m For Superb Target

RB Leipzig star player Naby Keita has emerged as a target for Liverpool this summer, with Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp keen on bolstering his squad ahead of next season.

And in a new development, Keita’s club have reportedly asked the Anfield club to spend £70.4million if they want to get the midfielder’s signature this summer.

Keita has put in a series of superb performances this just concluded season at the Bundesliga, and despite being granted just 29 league starts, was able to score eight goals and provided seven assists to help his club qualify for the Champions League after finishing behind title winners Bayern Munich.

And the talented player is said to have become a top target for the Reds after catching the eye of their German boss.

However, according to Bild, RB Leipzig are holding strong and have valued their prize asset at £70.4 Million.

Definitely, it is very unlikely that a club like Liverpool would pay such hefty fee for a player who can’t be regarded as a regular starter in his club. However, we look on if the Anfield club can negotiate that figure.

Jurgen Klopp has brought back Champions League football to Anfield and needs a strong squad to compete with other top European clubs in the competition.
