According to reports, Monaco youngster Kylian Mbappe held a meeting with the club’s officials over the weekend to talk about his future, and he had made the decision to make a move to Real Madrid in Spain.
Mbappe has become one of the hottest prospects in world football after an impressive campaign for his club this just concluded season.
The 18-year-old has been linked with top clubs across Europe even before the end of the campaign, with the likes of Real Madrid, Arsenal, Manchester United, PSG, and Man City all hunting furiously for his signature. It was even claimed that bids up to about €130 Million have been made for him.
A few days back, it was reported that Premier League champions Chelsea have also joined in the race for the France international, as Antonio Conte seeks a viable replacement for unsettled Diego Costa.
However, popular Spanish news outlet Marca, claimed the teenager will only consider signing for the Champions League winners – even though it is yet to be known if he is signing for the La Liga club this summer or the next.
The French starlet scored 15 goals in the French top flight last season to help Monaco win the Ligue I title. He also helped push his club to the Champions League semifinal and became the youngest player to score in a Champions League semifinal.
