According to Daily Mail, Arsenal tactician Arsene Wenger has said that contract negotiations with Jack Wilshere are prepared to take place in January after the midfielder again put in another good outing for Arsenal.
The 25 year old, is again enjoying a good spell in Arsene Wenger’s first team and proved his potentials with his brilliant assist for Chilean Alexis Sanchez in the 3-2 win over Crystal Palace recently.
Along with Jack Wilshere and the Superstar duo’s current contract up at the conclusion of the campaign, however, the England international midfielder is hopeful of sealing a new contract to keep him at the Emirates Stadium.
Wilshere has now played the last four English Premier League matches for Arsenal, all four in which the Gunners haven’t lost, as he attempts to make the Three Lions FIFA World Cup squad.
When the French tactician was again asked over the future of the midfielder and proposed contract negotiations, the Gunners boss said Arsenal authorities need to sit down with the midfielder. Beginning in the New Year, it’s planned.
The tactician stated that there is no delay, confirming he had told the player in December they would sort out his contract situation soon. The admitted telling the player they would meet and sit to discuss about his future.
