Chelsea to hijack move for 32-goal hero

Current Premier League holders Chelsea are ready to hijack Madrid’s reported move for Bayern Munich hitman Robert Lewandowski as they are hoping to beat the Bernabeu outfits to the player’s signature this summer.

There were reports last week via Spanish media outlet Don Balon that the Poland international has agreed to a contract-in-principle deal with the La Liga giants.

They also report that Bayern Munich are currently looking for his replacement at the Allianz Arena stadium but there is a new report on the player’s future.

According to Don Balon, Chelsea have joined Madrid in the race for the Polish striker and they are hoping to lure him to Stamford Bridge ahead of next season.

The Blues have failed to score plenty of goals this season due to Morata’s loss of form after picking up an injury in the early part of the campaign.

Despite returning to action after some weeks, the Blues record-signing looks lethargic and has since failed to return to his best form.

Having signed Olivier Giroud from Arsenal, many fans hope to see the Blues return to their free-scoring form but that wasn’t the case as the Frenchman is yet to hit the ground running at Stamford Bridge.

In their bid to find a lasting solution to their lack of goals problem ahead of next season, the Blues are ready to spend big on the 32-goal hero in the summer and they are hoping Morata would help lure him to Stamford Bridge.
