Chelsea set to offer another player a new deal?

With the look of things and the way Chelsea are going, the Blues are planning to tie down their best talents by giving them new contracts.

Recently, Chelsea confirmed that they have signed a new 5-year deal with their left back defender, Marcos Alonso.

Well, a new report from Stamford Bridge has made it known that Chelsea are ready to offer their centre back defender and Germany international, Antonio Rudiger a new deal.

Antonio Rudiger has turned out to be very instrumental in the Blues squad having formed a good combination with David Luiz at the back to tighten the Blues defense.

The Germany centre-back defender also gave Chelsea their first goal against Man Utd over the weekend.

Antonio Rudiger joined Chelsea from AS Roma last year at the sum of £34 million and still has 3 years to go in his current contract.

However, the report made it known that Chelsea intend to give him a new contract that will see his current pay wage of £100,000-a-week go higher and closer to some of the bigger earners in the club.

Going by the record, the ace defender has made 11 appearances for the Blues this season and he is likely to be available on Thursday’s Europa League game against BATE Borisov.
