Chelsea prepared to launch new bid to sign Alex Sandro

According to reports, Premier League Champions Chelsea are set ready to renew their interest in Juventus star Alex Sandro later in January, although it will take an offer of €60million or even more to bring him to Stamford Bridge.

The Brazil international defender was on the Blues wishlist this past summer transfer window, but clearly, a transfer to West London failed to materialise as he stayed with Juventus.

However, as reported by TransferMarketWeb, and The Daily Star, Chelsea are prepared to try once again for the 26-year-old ace in the January winter transfer window, but it will take an offer of around €60million+ to prize the defender out of Turin.

The defender has established himself as a prominent figure for the Serie A Champions, offering top quality skill in the left wing-back position. That’s an attribute Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is still keen to include in his Chelsea squad, as he’ll need good competition for places with Spaniard Marcos Alonso to rest the left wing back and rotate his squad.

Also, the same publication claims that Manchester City are keen on Sandro too, despite the fact that manager Pep Guardiola signed Benjamin Mendy in the summer and has used Danilo on the same left position so far this season.
