Good News: Chelsea Are Favorites To Sign Rock-solid Box-to-box Player

EPL leaders Chelsea seek to sign a new midfielder and a handful of classic players are already linked with a move to the club.

Few days back, Daily Mail claimed that the English Premier League title leaders are preparing a move to sign Frenchman Bakayako. It was additionally added that Atlanta midfielder Franck Kessie is also targeted.

Recently however, Tutto Mercato Web said that the blues are favorites to sign Kessie. The Italian source insisted the Stamford Bridge club already have their hands on the young midfielder.

Franck Kessie is a 20-year old versatile midfielder who can play effectively both as a central midfielder and as a defensive midfielder. This season so far, he has scored 7 times and provided 2 assists for Atlanta.

If Chelsea wants him truly, they need to act fast because other top teams like Juventus, Liverpool and Everton are also reportedly interested in signing him. Though reports said Chelsea have an upper hand because they are already at an advanced stage.

Presently, the Ivorian star is on international duty. But as things are going, it appears his Serie A Club desire holding on to him until the end of the current season. So even if he would move, it seem that would be in June.
