Chelsea, Manchester City Battle For Wonderkid

Chelsea and Manchester City are reportedly keen on signing Karamoko Dembele from Celtic.

Karamoko, aged 13 broke into limelight after his incredible skills for the youth set-ups in Celtic and is set to trigger a transfer fight between Premier League giants.

However, it is understood that Brendan Rodgers is desperate to keep the 13-year-old and has met with his family to convince them on keeping the teen-wonder in Scotland, using Moussa Dembele as an example of a success story. The 20-year-old forward was on close to joining Tottenham Hotspurs but the deal did not go through and Dembele is shining with Celtic.

Despite still having a long way to get into the first team, the Scottish giants are so keen to keep the youngster and see him rise through the ranks into their academy. Having played in an under-20 game earlier this season, Dembele never looked his age and showed he is real quality.

Guardiola renowned for developing young talents into stars will be very keen to bring the youngster as he has looked as the real deal already.

On the international scene, England and Scotland are also in tug of war to snatch up the super kid, though he was born in England and even trained with the English U-16s but has featured for the Scottish youth national team.
