Big Aubameyang claim made ahead of Napoli game

Arsenal were without Gabon international Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the starting line-up of the last Premier League game against Merseyside outfit Everton last Sunday.

The former Borussia Dortmund player came from the bench but could not help his team to secure a win or a draw as they fell to the Merseyside outfit.

However, it is reported that he is set to return to the starting line up in the first leg of the Europa League clash against Italian Serie A outfit Napoli on Thursday.

It was claimed that the star striker was ill and unfit for the game but that has been settled already as he is already declared fit.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has so far scored 22 goals across all competitions for the North London outfit to make him the club’s highest goal scorer.

Manager Unai Emery stated that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is now getting better and can now start a game for him.

However, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will hope to land more goals to be able to help the Gunners team with the Europa League title at the end of the season.

Should the Gunners scale through the quarter-finals, it would be the two consecutive years they will be playing in the semi-finals of the competition.
