Everton star player Ross Barkley is expected to leave Goodison Park anytime soon and has emerged as a target for both Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur this summer.
There have been lots of speculations surrounding him in recent times and the recent one is that Mauricio Pochettino’s side believes they can get the player for a fee in the region of £25M after his club were forced to reduce his asking price with the transfer window wrapping up next week.
The Englishman’s deal with the Toffees expires soon and Everton’s boss Ronald Koeman has admitted he has no plans for Ross in his first-team this season.
Everton has splashed the cash on Gylfi Sigurdsson this summer and had valued Ross at around £50m at the start of the window.
However, those interested in him were not willing to pay that much for him and the Goodison Park club could even lose him for free.
Spurs have shown a very intense interest in the midfielder for much of the summer and the Telegraph said they are confident of finalising a £25m deal for him.
But Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has told the club’s management that he wants as many as four new players before the end of the transfer window and they are understood to be working hard to give the manager some of the things he wants.
