Barcelona Ready To Sign Man United Target As Neymar’s Replacement

Barcelona are considering a move for Borussia Dortmund winger Ousmane Dembele as an ideal replacement for Paris Saint Germain-bound Neymar, according to reports.

The French star has drawn attention from several clubs in Europe due to his impressive displays with the German giants last season, with reports that Manchester United and Barca are the front-runners in a potential deal.

The 19-year-old has, however, said will not be moving this summer despite serious interest from top clubs in Europe while Dortmund also insisted they are not willing to cash in on the player.

However, reports in the Independent claim that the Catalan giants are plotting a £70 million move for Dembele as they begin to plan for life after Neymar who is on the verge of a move to Paris Saint Germain.

It is believed that Barca are looking at the possibility of signing Philippe Coutinho and Dembele to reinforce their ranks ahead of another hectic season in the La Liga and Champions League.

Meanwhile Manchester United are still in search of a winger but it is understood that Jose Mourinho prefers a move for Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic which could see Anthony Martial move in the opposite direction.
