Liverpool brought in Mohamed Salah and Dominic Solanke this summer, it appears the Reds still wants to sign one more player before the end of this year’s summer transfer window.
They have been linked with a handful of top players, and the latest man that has emerged as a target for the Reds is Borussia Dortmund star player Marco Reus, who has worked with Jurgen Klopp back then when the German boss was still managing the club.
It was reported that should Philippe Coutinho leave Anfield for Barcelona, Liverpool will try getting either of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang or Marco Reus, or even both of them, as they are getting ready for life without the Brazilian.
Gabon international Aubameyang has been strongly linked with a move away from Dortmund for some time now, and the African star remains available after a move to China failed to materialise earlier this summer.
His teammate Marco Reus is another option, but the German heavyweights are very unlikely to allow both of them leave at the same time.
Reus picked up an injury at the end of last season and remains sidelined until the New Year when he is projected for a comeback.
However, considering that Jurgen Klopp already has the likes of Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane in his club, we think he should concentrate more on bringing in a centre-back and a midfielder instead of splashing over £60M to get Reus.
