Breaking! Chelsea Plan £38.2m back-up Bid For Chilean Midfield Marshall

Chelsea are reportedly planning a mega back-up bid for Chilean powerhouse Arturo Vidal if they fail to sign Radja Nainggolan.

The Blues had three transfer bids for the Roma midfielder rejected last summer and are prepared to make improved offer but has mapped out another target they fail to sign him next month.

Nainggolan who recently admitted to have snubbed interest from Chelsea in the summer, could reject Antonio Conte’s advances in January.

However, the Blues boss is understood to be considering £38.2 bid for Bayern Munich’s Arturo Vidal if he fails to land his major target.

Following the departure of Oscar to Shanghai SIPG, Conte is believed to be keen on signing a new midfielder with doubts over the future of Cesc Fabregas despite his recent form for the club, and N’Golo Kante and Nemanja Matic being the trusted defensive midfielder in the Blues squad at the moment

The Italian boss has also showed interest a quite a number of central midfielders as they look to build on their six-point lead at the top of the Premier League table.

Vidal joined the Bayern Munich from Juventus and continued being a brilliant figure at the Allianz arena, with his contract running till 2019, Chelsea might not have it easy luring him to the Stamford Bridge.
