He won’t leave by January, club rules out move for another Liverpool’s star player

Italian Serie A Champions Juventus’ chief executive has ruled out a winter transfer move for Germany international playmaker Emre Can after failing to secure the services of the Liverpool midfield maestro during the recently shut summer transfer window.

Juventus Chief Executive Beppe Marotta does not think Liverpool will allow Emre Can to leave later in January, despite the Germany international midfielder’s contract expiring next summer.

Marotta informed Premium Sport in an interview “We [Juventus] do not think we [Juventus] are going to make a big [major] signing in January [winter transfer window].”

“Our team [squad] is absolutely competitive, and we [Juventus] have some very interesting [good] midfielders like Rodrigo Bentancur who has already shown [displayed] his qualities.

“We [Juventus] have [utmost] faith in this team [squad] and in these lads [set of players]. As for German Emre Can I [Marotta] do not think Liverpool will sell him in January [winter transfer windw].

“We [Juventus] made a bid for him in the summer [transfer window], but the Reds did not sell him, so I [Marotta] do not think they will change their mind [stance] in the middle of the [League] season.”
