Arsenal table bid for Beppe Morotta

Arsenal are set to replace their departing chief executive, Ivan Gazidis with Juventus CEO Beppe Marotta if reports from Italy is anything to go by.

Gazidis announced his exit from the North London club a month earlier to join Italian outfit AC Milan and will take up same position at the club.

Immediately his announcement, the Gunners board announced Raul Sanllehi and Vinai Venkatesham to take the leading role at the Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal had made it known that it will still proceed to secure a replacement for the departing chief and are reported to have submitted a 3 million-a-year deal to the 61-year-old.

Morotta has had 8 years spell with his current employers, Juventus but made it known that he will be quitting also.

It is unclear if he will be joining Arsenal as Inter are reported to be interested in his services and have held preliminary talks with him.

The decision for Morotta is still unknown with suggestions that he is considering all offers available on his table in order to make a better decision of his next move.

Arsenal are hoping he makes the decision to switch to the North London so as to cover the vacuum left by Gazidis.
