Arsenal offer player contract worth £300,000 weekly – report

According to reports in the British media, North London giants Arsenal have offered Manchester City target, Alexis Sanchez, a new deal worth £300,000 a week.

As per The Daily Mail, Arsenal have submitted a new bid to try and lure the 28-year-old Chilean, to sign a new contract and commit his future to the Emirate club.

The same publication reported that the Emirate club’s former bid was worth about £275,000 a week.

The report says that the former Barcelona forward has made it crystal clear that he would only accept an offer of more than £300,000 weekly and it remains to be seen if he is interested in signing a new contract with Arsenal.

The same article credits big spenders Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain with interest in signing the Chilean, but Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is believed to be increasingly confident that Alexis Sanchez will remain at the club.

Arsene Wenger is believed to be determined to keep Sanchez beyond this summer, even if it means losing him on a free next summer transfer window when his current contract is due to expire.

The Gunners have signed two top players so far this summer transfer window as they prepare to challenge for the English Premier League title this season.

Arsenal have signed both Sead Kolasinac and Alexandre Lacazette this summer.
