Arsenal emerge favourites for £50m-rated EPL star

North London outfit Arsenal have been tipped as the favourites to land English Premier League outfit Everton defender Michael Keane ahead of the coming summer transfer window.

The Gunners’ North London rivals Tottenham were earlier in the lead for the chase of the star player but they have been undertaken in the race.

One of the areas the Gunners will seek to strengthen in the coming summer transfer window is the defence because of the shortage of options in the position and the number of goals they have conceded so far this season.

It is reported that Everton are ready to part ways with Michael Keane at the end of the season but on the condition that his suitor will be able to table £50 million for his signature.

The Gunners are no longer confident with Shkodran Mustafi as he has been inconsistent so far this season. There is, therefore, a need to have him replaced while the same can be said of Tottenham who are also finding it difficult to keep central defender Toby Alderwiereld at the club after this season.

However, the Gunner shave been handed the chance to sign Michael Keane because of the certainty to qualify to the Champions League next season with a top-four finish.
