North London outfit Arsenal are currently in a light mood especially after they were able to secure a push to the third spot in the Premier League table after defeating Newcastle by 2-0 on Monday.

The Gunners team have shown a lot of positives since the Spanish boss Unai Emery took over from former manager Arsene Wenger at the start of the season and a lot has been achieved since then.

However, Unai Emery has singled his two new recruits Lucas Torreira and Matteo Guendouzi as the most improved players in his team because of their growing influence.

It would be recalled that both players joined the Emirates Stadium in the last summer and they immediately blended with the team with Lucas Torreira eventually becoming the regular player while Matteo Guendouzi has shown great prospect.

Unai Emery stated that the two players have shown improvement especially in adapting to the Premier League in their first season, noting that it is usually difficult for a first timer because of the level of competition.

He, however, claimed that they might have been helped by the experienced players in the team to do better but there are chances that they have also done well.
