Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has revealed that neither him or star player Mohamed Salah is bothered by his scoreless run in front of goal.
In his latest interview monitored by popular media outlet Goal, Klopp told reporters that the Egyptian international player is not worried about his goal drought.
Salah has not scored for the Reds in the last eight games in all competitions but that has not stopped Liverpool from chasing down major honours in both the Premier League and the Champions League.
They will face Portuguese champions FC Porto in the quarterfinals of the Champions League with a last four spot up for grabs.
If they can navigate their two-legged last eight meeting with FC Porto, they will face the winner of the quarterfinal clash between Manchester United and Spanish champions Barcelona.
In the Premier League, Liverpool were at the Premier League summit before defending champions Manchester City usurped them on Wednesday night following their easy 2-0 win over Cardiff City at the Etihad Stadium.
Kevin De Bruyne and Leroy Sane scored to send Manchester City to the top of the Premier League table at the expense of the Reds.
Liverpool can regain the lead with a win over Southampton at the St. Mary’s Stadium on Friday night.
