Arsenal star reveals what was most obvious in the United game

Arsenal secured a fantastic win against Man United on Sunday to brighten their chances of qualification to the Champions League next season after missing out on two consecutive seasons.

A goal from Granit Xhaka and another from the spot by Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was enough to stop the Red Devils who saw their first defeat under interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in the game.

Arsenal youngster Maitland-Niles is one of the players with obvious performance in the game as the 21-year-old mounted the right wing back to stop the Red Devils with his energetic performance as well as contributing at both ends of the field.

Maitland-Niles spoke to the club’s official website, stating that one thing that was obvious in the game is that the players played as a team and were ready to die for the team, noting that they all did the chase and tackle to stop the Red Devils.

He stressed that the fans were also helpful as they gave out overwhelming support to the team to move a step forward in achieving their target for the season.

However, the North London outfit will hope to have a repeat of the Man United performance when they file out against Rennes in the Europa League as they have already been defeated in the first leg by 3-1.
