We Don’t Care About People’s Expectations At Man City – Kevin De Bruyne

Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne has revealed that the Premier League champions don’t care about people’s expectations about the team.

He was speaking in his recent interview monitored by Goal after Manchester City narrowly defeated West Ham United to maintain their push for the Premier League title.

According to former Chelsea player Kevin De Bruyne, people expect them to win every game 5-0 and that’s not possible.

He further revealed that Manchester City played very well against the Hammers in their Premier League clash on Wednesday night but they were unable to find more than one occasion just like in previous games.

Manchester City knew a win for them could take them back to the top of the table if leaders Liverpool slip up at home to Watford.

The Citizens had to wait till the second half to score the only goal of the game from the penalty spot.

The in-form Argentine international stepped up to score from the spot after Felipe Anderson was adjudged to have brought down substitute Bernardo Silva in the box.

It was a controversial moment that decided the game with replays showing that Bernardo Silva made much out of the challenge from Brazilian international Felipe Anderson.

Manchester City stay in second spot after Liverpool thrashed Watford 5-0 to maintain top spot.
