Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has praised the impact of young defender Trent Alexander-Arnold during the Reds’ Premier League victory over Watford.
Trent Alexander-Arnold was in superb form as he provided three assists to help Liverpool to a comprehensive 5-0 win over the Hornets in their quest for the Premier League title.
After the game, Jurgen Klopp praised the defender for his performance in his post-match interview after the Watford game at Anfield as he said that it was a special night for the England international player.
Trent Alexander-Arnold enjoyed a breakthrough season for Liverpool in the last campaign as he helped the Reds reach the Champions League final before they were beaten 3-1 by European champions Real Madrid.
His Liverpool form was enough to earn him a spot in the 23-man England squad to last summer’s transfer window.
Trent Alexander-Arnold was part of the England team that finished fourth at the end of the tournament.
The young English defender is the youngest player to provide a treble of assists in the Premier League at the age of 20 years and 143 days.
Alexander-Arnold provided the first goal for Sadio Mane in the 9th minute before he setup Mane again for the second goal on 20 minutes before completing his treble of assists for Virgil Van Dijk in the second half.
