Arsenal legend Robert Pires has stated that Manchester United forward Alexis Sanchez made a mistake answering the call from manager Jose Mourinho to switch away from the Emirates Stadium.
The South American moved to United in January and there might be a need for another move according to former Arsenal Player, Robert Pires.
Pires in his opinion stated that the former Barcelona man ought to have remained with Arsenal instead of a move to United.
The Arsenal legend admits he was surprised when he heard of Sanchez move away from Arsenal.
He noted the Chile international’s style will flourish more under the new Arsenal manager instead of Mourinho.
Sanchez has been described as a player who does not deserve to sit on the bench in any game but unfortunately, it’s happening for real.
It was expected that Sanchez will consider a move to the other side of the Manchester City where he would have been well managed by Pep Guardiola.
Arsenal have since moved on from the former Barcelona forward with the signing of Pierre Emerick Aubameyang who has since settled and deliver goals.
