“Here Is The Only Club That Can Stop Liverpool In The Champions League”

Liverpool stunned the world by beating Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium, and they have now booked a place in the semifinals of the elite tournament.

And due to their superb form, former Tottenham Hotspur man Chris Waddle feels the Merseysiders can beat any club remaining in the tournament, but he believes Real Madrid are the only ones that can spoil their chances of progressing into the final round of the competition.

Liverpool won 3-0 last week at Anfield, but a quick goal by Gabriel Jesus at the Etihad Stadium gave Pep Guardiola’s side more confidence to push forward – though they couldn’t score anymore before the break.

The Reds managed to equalise in the second half – all thanks to Mo Salah’s impressive performance, and they went ahead to frustrate their hosts before Roberto Firmino scored the second goal few minutes to full-time.

Although Chris believes Liverpool can win Real Madrid in the final, he thinks the La Liga club should be avoided in the semifinals of the competition.

After Roma shocked the world by beating Barcelona 3-0 yesterday, Waddle is confident Liverpool can beat the Serie A side if they both would clash in the semi-final.
