47-year-old Premier League manager mentioned on United’s wish list

Manchester United legend Eric Cantona has named Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola as his wish for his old side.

It is now obvious that Cantona is one of those who are not comfortable with manager Jose Mourinho at this former club

He admitted that United is a big club with history of titles but the way they play have not been satisfactory under the former Chelsea boss, giving the club an identity, different from what it used to be.

Cantona stated that the fans might enjoy seeing wins but will definitely not enjoy the style of play by the Mourinho team.

H, therefore,e mentioned City manager, Guardiola as the one United should have as a coach, going by his record and the interesting pattern of play.

Guardiola has set a record for himself by winning the top titles in all the leagues he has worked, including the Spanish La Liga, Bundesliga and the English Premier League.

However, United chairman, Ed Woodward has stated that Mourinho’s job is not under any threat but pundits are of the opinion that should events continue this manner at Old Trafford, he will be left with no choice than to be shown the way out.
