The international break would probably be an opportunity for club managers to rest and strategise for coming league games but that is not the case for Manchester United, Jose Mourinho in this current break.

With the current unrest at United, following the controversies surrounding the future of star midfielder, Paul Pogba, United will be left with no choice than to prepare for life without the French midfielder.

The Sun report that Mourinho is already getting set for the January transfer window by considering the signature of £60m signing of Wolves’ star midfielder Ruben Neves who is reportedly being monitored by Manchester City.

It is reported that the Portuguese has been on Mourinho’s radar but he had waited to see how the player adapts to the rigour of the Premier League.

With the situation at United after Pogba openly said he could be on his way out of the club, it has now become a necessity for the club to secure a suitable replacement for him.

United and City will be expected to battle for Neves with Pep Guardiola also seeking to make the player a consolation after missing out on Jorginho in the summer.

The player is already being monitored and an attractive deal will have him at either of the Manchester clubs.
