Chelsea are closing in on prolific £44.2million transfer – report

North London football club, Chelsea is about to reach an agreement with Italian club, Juventus as they are about to bring 23-year-old Daniele Rugani to Stamford Bridge.

Further information disclosed that The Blues and Juventus have arrived at an agreement for the centre back defender. The deal is said to worth the sum of £44.2 million.

Should Rugani arrived at Stamford Bridge, he will be one of the fresh blood Chelsea needs at its defence. As the club is looking forward to performing better under the leadership of Sarri Maurizio than what was witnessed under Antonio Conte. And at least win a trophy if possible, which will be a record on Sarri’s part as he has never won one throughout his coaching career.

Once Rugani arrives at North London, he will take over from Gary Cahill and David Luiz, as the two are already ageing.

Another report confirmed that Juventus and Chelsea have reached an agreement.

It is quite possible, Juventus would let the defender leave the Italian league as he has never always been a regular player for the club.

It is believed that if Daniele joins Chelsea, he would have more playing time as Sarri would want to include him among the first eleven players at Chelsea.
