Why Man United do not need this Barcelona star
France international defender and Barcelona star Samuel Umtiti is one of the players who is being wanted by English Premier League outfit Man United but they have been told that they have no need of him.
This is according to former Man United defender Mikael Silvestre who claims that Red Devils should have more of their attention on strengthening the midfield instead of the defence.
It is claimed that the Red Devils are keen on the signature of World Cup winner Samuel Umtiti and will make an attempt to land him in the coming summer transfer window as it is claimed that he is already considering a move away.
According to the former Red Devils defender, the Ole Gunnar Solskjaer side have got Eric Bailly as a defender whom they can trust, rather than investing on Samuel Umtiti who can only give same level and nothing more.
However, Mikael Silvestre hailed the appointment of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as the permanent manager of his former side, noting that everyone had expected the announcement because the former forward had changed the club’s stance in the premier league and champions league with the opportunity handed him.
Meanwhile, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be involved in the coming summer transfer window as he is expected to return the club to winning ways.
