“A lot of them should be sold” – Legend makes strong prediction about Manchester United summer transfers

Paul Merson feels that some of Man United’s present players would be happy to leave Old Trafford this summer.

Man United to be linked to many players

Manchester United are bound to be constantly linked with a couple of players this summer transfer window as manager Jose Mourinho looks to strengthen his Manchester United team with the right recruits.

It remains to be viewed how many new signings United will bring in this summer as the Portuguese tactician aims to assemble a squad capable of challenging rivals Manchester City’s dominance of the English Premier League next campaign.

Lot of exits expected at Old Trafford

A number of departures are expected at the club as United look to reshuffle their team ahead of Jose Mourinho’s third campaign in charge at Old Trafford.

And ex-Arsenal star Merson believes that there are a lot of Manchester United players who would happily leave the side this summer transfer window because they don’t look glad under Jose Mourinho.

The Red Devil finished second-place in the English Premier League this term in their highest ever Premier League finish since Scottish boss Sir Alex Ferguson retired.

The club appointed Jose Mourinho to replace Louis van Gaal at the club back in May 2016.
