Chelsea want £15million for misfit Brazilian – Not Willian

According to The Mirror Newcastle United could make Kenedy’s loan spell permanent from reigning Premier League champions Chelsea, although the West London club are believed to want just £15million for the Brazilian.

Misfit Brazilian

The 22-year-old winger failed to convince Chelsea boss Antonio Conte earlier this term to keep him at the club having played only a mere handful of matches in cup games.

Following his winter move to join Newcastle on loan, he’s scored two goals and made an assist in six English Premier League matches and has maybe done just enough to prove his value to manager Rafa Benitez.

With such stiff competition for places at Stamford Bridge, it remains to be discovered if he has an opportunity of returning to West London and having a future at the club, or if he will be crowded out and offloaded if a suitable offer is made as he’ll certainly have a better opportunity of regular playing time at St James’ Park going forward.

Vital Champions league clash ahead

Chelsea are currently preparing for their return leg match with FC Barcelona on Wednesday night at Camp Nou, having played out a 1-1 draw a few weeks back.

Willian shot the Blues ahead in the first leg before Andreas Christensen made a dreadful mistake as Chelsea conceded a critical away goal to Argentine star Lionel Messi
