£60million Chelsea transfer target puts his side 1-0 down

Juventus star Alex Sandro is certainly seen as one of the best left-backs in the beautiful game of football at the moment, and one imagines Chelsea tactician Antonio Conte has done all his homework on the defender according to caughtoffside.

The Brazil international defender has been a consistent figure for Serie A Champions Juventus since he joined the Turin giant from Portuguese giant Porto, where he had also caught the ‘eagle’ eye as an emerging young talent.

Having failed to sign the Brazilian in the summer, the Premier League Champions are reportedly prepared to go back in for the flying wing-back with a £60million offer this coming January, according to the Daily Mail.

Still, the former Juventus manager might want to have a re-think after watching this clumsy own goal by the Chelsea target, which put his side Juventus 1-0 down against Portuguese side Sporting Lisbon tonight.

Pundits believe £60million is a lot of money to spend on a left-back, especially when the team already have an excellent Spaniard Marcos Alonso flying down the left wing in the Chelsea team.

Some fans believe the Chelsea boss should invest so much in the Juventus star come next January, and some feel the money be better spent on a better player. Whichever way, only time will tell.
