Euro Giants Enter Transfer Talks With Arsenal Over Prolific Forward

Paris Saint Germain have re-entered talks with Arsenal over the transfer of Alexis Sanchez after failing to sign AS Monaco forward Kylian Mbappe.

The French giants have been tipped to make a move to the Chilean attacker this summer but cooled their interest in the player with reports that Manchester City are leading the race to sign Sanchez.

However, Arsenal have repeatedly made it clear that they will not selling the 28-year-old to a Premier League rival, with suggestions that Arsene Wenger is ready to avert another typical situation of Robin Van Persie that was sold off to Manchester United with just one year remaining in his deal at Emirates.

Reports in French outlet L’Equipe claims Paris Saint Germain have renewed their interest in Sanchez and have started talks with Arsenal over a potential deal.

It is understood that PSG were put off by Sanchez’s weekly wage demands but are considering a move for him after losing out of a move for Kylian Mbappe who is set to remain with the Ligue 1 champions.

Alexis Sanchez has made it clear that he wants to leave the Emirates this summer after admitting he wants Champions League football next season but Arsene Wenger is keen on holding on to the star but will reluctantly let him leave for clubs outside the Premier League.
