Update: Conte signs a two year deal with Chelsea
According to reports, Chelsea are getting more concerned over the future of their manager Antonio Conte at the club as he keeps stalling a new contract with them.
It is understood that Chelsea have already placed a new offer on the table for Conte this summer, but the Italian boss is said to be frustrated with his job at Stamford Bridge due to the manner the club participates in the transfer market.
Chelsea have lost out on the signing of one of their major targets for this summer in the person of former Everton striker Romelu Lukaku. But they have been able to bring in the trio of Tiemoue Bakayoko, Antonio Rudiger, and Willy Caballero so far.
However, Conte is yet to have a main man upfront ahead of next season after telling Diego Costa at the end of last season that he is not part of his plans at Stamford Bridge next term.
Diego is expected to move back to Atletico Madrid, and Chelsea still look no closer to agreeing a deal for a top class striker.
The Sun says the former Juventus manager is still unsettled at Stamford Bridge and his condition is causing some tension ahead of the new campaign.
The manager was able to win the premier league title in his first campaign at Chelsea and in England and was crowned the manager of the year in the country.
