Finally, Man Utd Respond To Chelsea Star Personal Terms Agreement

Nemanja Matic is one of the Chelsea stars linked with a move away from the club this summer despite playing a crucial role in their title-winning campaign last season.

Reckon that the defensive midfielder is keen on reuniting with his former manager Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford, and it was recently claimed that the Serbian has agreed on a verbal agreement with Man United.

Chelsea are getting close to completing a deal for Monaco’s Tiemoué Bakayoko, which has led to reports that the Serbia international would be surplus to requirements under manager Antonio Conte.

However, in a new development, Manchester United have come up to refute the reports that Matic has agreed to personal terms for a transfer this summer.

The Telegraph claims any such understanding has been rejected by the Old Trafford club, and an earlier report by The Manchester Evening News about an agreement with the player has been denied.

Man Utd have also been linked with a move for Tottenham Hotspur’s Eric Dier, but Mauricio Pochettino does not appear to be interested in allowing the England international leave the club yet.

Jose Mourinho needs defensive midfielder to partner record-signing Paul Pogba in the center of the park. Apart from Matic and Dier, the Red Devils have also been linked with Monaco’s Fabinho and Paris Saint-Germain star player Blaise Matuidi.
