3-4-3 Formation, Key Player Out – Chelsea Probable Line-up vs Sunderland

Chelsea face Sunderland at the Stadium of Light on Wednesday night and a win will give them six points clear from rivals at the top of the Premier League.

Here is a predicted line-up for the Blues. (3-4-3 formation)

Courtois- Azpilicueta, Luiz, Cahill- Matic, Kante, Alonso, Moses- Willian, Pedro, Costa.

Thibaut Courtois is expected to start in goal after keeping seven clean sheets so far in the league and could extend his record against a below par Sunderland side.

At center-back, the trio of Cesar Azpilicueta, David Luiz and Gary Cahill should retain their place in defence. Though, Cahill has been considered as the weak link in the set-up but his recent performances will continue to earn him a place in the starting eleven.

In midfield, Kante and Matic will be the two strongholds at the centre controlling and freeing up space for the duo of Marco Alonso and Victor Moses on the flanks.

Eden Hazard will be replaced by Willian in the attack for Chelsea while Pedro is expected to keep his place as Diego Costa will continue to lead the pack with hopes he continue in typical fashion.

The Black Cats are expected to line up in a (4-3-3 formation)

Pickford- Van Aanholt, Kone, Djilobodji, Jones- Kirchhoff, Larsson, Denayer- Anichebe, Pienaar, Defoe.
