Liverpool winger Xerdan Shaqiri has hinted a possible return to German Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich later in his football career.
Shaqiri, 27, played for the Bavarian giants between 2012 and 2015 before joining Italian Serie A giants Inter Milan.
The Swiss international star signed for Bayern Munich after he enjoyed a sensational breakthrough at FC Basel.
Shaqiri talked about a Bayern Munich return in his latest interview monitored by the Daily Express.
According to him, he enjoyed the best spell of his career at Bayern Munich and that he would love to go back to the German club.
Xerdan Shaqiri joined Liverpool at the start of the season after he was unable to prevent Stoke City from suffering relegation at the end of the last campaign.
The Potters were one of the three teams relegated from the English top flight last season.
Liverpool activated the £13.5m release clause in his then Stoke City contract to sign him last summer and he has proved his worth at the Merseyside club.
The petite playmaker has scored six goals in 20 league appearances and he has contributed immensely to the Reds’ ascent to the top two spots on the Premier League table.
