Why this United star should be blamed for defeat, he provoked Arsenal players

Arsenal enjoyed their sweet victory over Man United at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday with Granit Xhaka and Pierre Emerick Aubameyang goals ensuring a 2-0 win.

No wonder the Gunners played with all determination and confidence, it was revealed by goalkeeper Bernd Leno that they were provoked by Jesse Lingard in his goal celebration against them in Arsenal’s recent FA Cup defeat to Manchester United.

It would be recalled that the England international had celebrated a goal in United’s 3-1 FA Cup fourth-round win at the Emirates Stadium back in January by
dancing in front of the fans.

Jesse Lingard later went ahead to post the celebration on Instagram with the location set as “dancefloor”.

Although, Jesse Lingard missed the game as a result of the hamstring he is currently treating, his actions were perceived as disrespect by Arsenal players, according to the former Bayer Leverkusen shot-stopper and there was a need to change the location of the dancing floor.

However, the consequence is that interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer saw his first Premier League defeat while his Red Devils team have been pushed down from the fourth position to fifth. Their Champions League qualification can no longer be guaranteed.

Meanwhile, Bernd Leno claims the North London outfit are now more motivated than they have been, hoping that they go ahead to win all of the 8 games left to the end of the season.
