What Kurt Zouma said about returning to Stamford Bridge

France international and Chelsea loanee player, Kurt Zouma in a recent statement have made it known that he will return to Chelsea at the end of the ongoing season in June 2019.

Kurt Zouma, who currently plays at Everton disclosed he wants to return to Chelsea and fight for his place in the senior team.

The 23-year-old centre-half despite his injury had been a regular for the senior team under former coach Antonio Conte, with 71 appearances for the senior team, but the arrival of new coach Sarri Maurizio saw his transfer to Everton.

However, the French player disclosed it has always been his intention since he was 16 to play at Stamford Bridge especially the first eleven.

He added that his loan spell at Everton is meant to build his skills and experience.

Well,  it will take some performance with results for Zouma to prove to Sarri that he deserves a place in the senior team.

Going by record, 23-year-old Kurt Zouma joined Chelsea from Saint-Étienne at the beginning of 2014.

As at then, his transfer price was believed to be within the range of £12 million.
