Federico Chiesa

According to reports emanating from Italy, Liverpool are one of the several clubs interested in Fiorentina’s forward Federico Chiesa.

The forwards performances have been receiving a lot of accolades from football fans and pundits alike, and it looks like Liverpool’s scouts have also been pleased with him.

Chiesa, 19, has already earned a spot in Italy’s U21 National team squad and there are hopes for him in his home country Italy.

The teenage sensation is predominantly a right-sided winger but he can also play anywhere across the front three, and his pace is a major asset, something which makes the teenager a perfect fit in the Reds system.

Italian Serie A giants Inter Milan and Napoli are also keen on the striker, and both teams will continue to watch the youngster’s progress closely, but if he continues his development at this rate, in no distance time before top European clubs begin to knock on the door.

The same publication reported that Serie A giant Fiorentina know how good Chiesa is and therefore they are unlikely to accept any bids below the €40million mark.

The young striker shone in his team’s 5-0 away demolition of Serie A side Verona last weekend, constantly disturbing his opponents backline, revealing his relentless pace and strength with dazzling forward runs.
