The current Arsenal side under new manager Unai Emery looks solid going forward but that cannot be said of the club when defending which makes it important for the team to equip defensively.
The North London side are therefore linked to Mario Hermoso who shares resemblance with Real Madrid star Sergio Ramos in his style of play.
The Espanyol star has been impressive this season since joining the club in 2017. He has made it clear that he idolises Ramos and there he no doubt he has given that taste in his performance.
However, the interest of the North London side is believed to be strong but they have faced with a major threat from Spanish giants, Real Madrid who are also keen on Hermoso.
Hermoso was a former Madrid player at a younger age but failed to make the mark with the Los Blancos which ensured his departure. He has since impressed and grown in his game which earned him a call-up to the Spanish squad.
In a bid to secure the service of the 23-year-old, Arsenal have been told to match Madrid financially and also make efforts to lure the player with a promise of first team football as the decision boils down to Hermoso at the end of the day.
