Manchester United Legends Gives Chelsea Fans ‘Fresh Hope’

Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney believes Arsenal and Tottenham won’t finish in the top four of the premier league this term.

The season is slowly coming to a close – with just 12 games left to be played in the premier league, and the big sides are struggling to grab a Champions League ticket for next season.

It is obvious Manchester City will win the premier league trophy this season by finishing on top of the table, and Manchester United are also expected to clinch to the second spot.

The likes of Liverpool, Chelsea, Tottenham and Arsenal will fight for the final two top four positions.

And former Man United striker Wayne Rooney believes Tottenham and Arsenal won’t finish the season among the top four.

Speaking recently to Sky Sports, the Englishman said Chelsea, despite their recent struggles, are likely to get things ‘sorted out’ before the end of the season.

Rooney believes the defending premier league champions have ‘enough quality’ to secure a spot in next season’s Champions League.

Another former Manchester United player Rio Ferdinand also believes Chelsea will definitely end the season among the top four in the premier league.

Rio believes Belgium international Eden Hazard will help make things right at Stamford Bridge before the end of the ongoing campaign.
