Video: That moment Dejan Lovren almost destroyed Gabriel Jesus

The big game of the EPL last weekend between Liverpool and Man City went goalless but there were some exciting tackles to watch.

One of the exciting moment to watch was when Liverpool center back defender, Dejan Lovren tackled Man City forward, Gabriel Jesus.

Dejan Lovren through this performance proved why Liverpool coach, Jurgen Klopp prefers to start him alongside Virgil van Dijk at the center back.

The Croatian lost his place in the first eleven following an injury he sustained during the world cup in Russia, this made Joe Gomez take over from him.

Although Joe Gomez has put up some great performance for the Reds while Lovren was absence, the Croatia international has proved why he is a better player.

The match between Man City and Liverpool was speculated to be a very interesting game but turned out to be boring right from the beginning to the last five minutes of the game.

Man City were close to ending the match with one goal after Liverpool defender, Virgil van Dijk committed a foul that led to a penalty kick for the visiting side, however, Riyad Mahrez lost the opportunity with the game ending in a goalless draw.
