Video: Chelsea fans made to look foolish as Diego Costa scored 49 seconds into match against Real Madrid

How time flies, if you are an ardent Chelsea follower or fan, you will surely do remember the days of Spaniard player, Diego Costa at Stamford Bridge.

The Spain international left Chelsea for Spanish club, Atletico Madrid under the management of Italian coach, Antonio Conte last season

However, despite Costa being a great player, some  Chelsea fans were quick to mock him, there was a time some fans took to their twitter handle to rain abusive words on him.

They called him a donkey as they stressed that they needed a player who has better touch and can link up well.

But guess what, Diego Costa is gone and in his place, Chelsea brought in his fellow countryman, Alvaro Morata, who so far is nothing to write home about probably because he is yet to get the Blues style of play.

However, those Chelsea fans are blaming themselves right now owing to Diego Costa performance for Atletico Madrid in the Super Cup.

The Spanish forward scored one of the four goals against Real Madrid in a game that was a big defeat for the European Champions.
